The mission of Northern Michigan Angels (NMA) is two-fold: to help grow the economic base of the region through investment in scaleable early-stage companies, and to provide members a compelling financial return on their time commitment and invested capital.
NMA is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit founded in January 2012. It’s one of many angel investment organizations
in Michigan, the U.S. and around the world. NMA members are successful entrepreneurs and business leaders in Northern Michigan who have an amazing range of functional and industry expertise. Members gain Information about startup companies and provide accredited investment capital, but NMA does not provide investment advice. Our members, nearly fifty to-date, have invested over $5.6 million in 34 currently active companies since inception.
